OUR COURSES

First Level

The first level is aimed at those who do not know Kurdish at all. Those regularly attending a workshop held for this level and meeting the requirements for its successful completion can, at the end of the workshop:

  • Read and understand short and simple dialogues and texts
  • Understand and use basic daily expressions
  • Introduce themselves and others, and tell where they and others are from, where they live as well as how old they are
  • Establish a relationship with speakers and understand them when they speak at a low pace

Second Level

The Second level is aimed at those who know either daily spoken Kurdish or their dialect, but cannot read or write and want to improve their competence in Kurdish. Those regularly attending the second level workshop and meeting the requirements for its successful completion can, at the end of the workshop:

  • Improve their reading and writing skills to such a level where they are able to read and understand relatively longer texts
  • Speak with native speakers of Kurdish without difficulty, and easily understand them.
  • Write a straightforward text

Third Level

This level is for those who have successfully completed the second level. Those attending a workshop held for this level can, at the end of the workshop:

  • Read and understand a literary text without any difficulty
  • Write a long text using proverbs and idioms
  • Speak Kurdish fluently
